Mineral County Museum

The Mineral County Museum is the place to find the town's history it does a fantastic job of preserving the region’s rich heritage and culture!


When visiting you'll find early 1800s mission bells, Victorian furniture, cameras, vintage clothing, hats and shoes, and military artifacts. The museum is also home of relics and artifacts from the region’s industrial past! This would including mining, railroad and fire equipment.


The museum also holds a reproduction of a turn-of-the-century pharmacy filled with historic pharmaceutical items (pictured on the left). Next to this is an exhibit featuring fossils and wildlife that has been found in Mineral County. There is also a rock and mineral displays that showcase treasures that can be found in Nevada.
